As an in-house design manager for Miami University's HDRBS, I was tasked with creating a system for the Miami University Bookstore's brand to operate within. With textbooks becoming digitized & ordered through inexpensive routes, the Miami University Bookstore has decided to cease the sale of textbooks in-store and re-imagine itself as a high-end campus boutique. In January of 2017, the HDRBS marketing team worked together to rebrand the Miami University Bookstore into a fresher version of itself: Brick & Ivy.
The identity system that was created provides guidelines on color usage, pattern usage, and typography that may be used on marketing collateral. Along with these brief brand guidelines, I created templates for general advertisements so other designers on the marketing team may help produce the large volume of work associated with Brick & Ivy. In January 2017, I worked on a team with three other designers to develop a new signature mark that would represent the store's loyalty to Miami Culture & their willingness to the ever-changing landscape that campus retail exists within.
